United Nepali Diaspora conference to be held in South Korea

KATHMANDU:- The annual general meeting of the United Nepali Diaspora Organization (UNDO), which was formed as a separate entity from the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), is scheduled to be held in South Korea.

The 8th meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Sonam Lama and various decisions were passed, including the annual general meeting.

The meeting decided to hold the upcoming Annual General Meeting and a one-day conference in partnership with the MIT Foundation in South Korea on December 20-21, 2025.

The general assembly has focused on the organization’s constitution, budget, resource development, global expansion plans, various projects, and the main agenda of the one-day conference.

Although it is customary to hold the organization’s annual general meeting in Nepal, this year marks the beginning of the organization’s development and the responsibility of global expansion, so it has been decided to hold it in South Korea on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

As per the tradition of the Regional Coordinator (RC) of the respective region coordinating the meetings and conferences, the seventh meeting decided to assign the responsibility of coordinator to RC Laxmi Gurung of Asia.

All registered members and all members who have subscribed by the same day will be eligible to be representatives at the General Assembly.
